  • Introduction

With the Accu-Chek Combo insulin delivery system you can easily and discreetly increase or decrease your basal rate. In some cases your body needs more or less insulin than usual. For instance, you may need more insulin when you're ill and less when you're playing sports. You can use a Temporary Basal Rate (TBR) to deal with such cases.

When you increase or decrease your basal rate, each hourly basal rate for the duration you program is increased or decreased.

Speak to your doctor or healthcare team to learn when you should use a TBR. In this lesson, we focus on how to program and cancel a TBR. Let's go!

With your Accu-Chek Combo insulin delivery system, you can easily, quickly and discreetly adjust your insulin on the go to have more freedom and flexibility in managing your diabetes.
